Mr. Abernathy is a classic newspaper comic strip about a wealthy, carefree millionaire, who behaves almost like a child in an adults body. Created by writer Ralston "Bud" Jones and artist Frank Ridgeway, strips ran from 1957 to 1994, with a Sunday strip running from 1959 to 1986. Jones retired in the 1980s, and Ridgeway continued writing and drawing the strip until his death in 1994.
This piece is an original black-and-white comic book art page for an Archie story titled "Career Talk," featuring Archie and Jughead.
Marked at the top for The New Archies Digest #7, dated October 7, then published later that month in 1989. With original pencil and sketch marks before inking, hand-lettered dialogue, panel borders, paste-up title headers, and a promotional footer for The New Archies cartoon show. On the back is stamped the original copyright stamp of Archie Comic Publications.

Each page is nicely illustrated with original ink lining, typeface, panels and characters; also showcases the original blue-pencil sketches before the final inking.
On the top left on each page in blue-pencil reads “SS191 JULY 67”; on the top right each page is numbered and circled. Page 7 has an additional spelling note of “masquerading”. On the back end is stamped “Comics Magazine Code Authority Approved Jan 10 1967” with a signature below.

This piece showcases vintage paper clipping comic book production layout page from Right Stound Home, from the house of legendary Golden Age comic book artist: Ted Miller.
On the verso side is stamped the name TED MILLER and hand written with pencil; West Newbury, Mass - where he lived and worked freelancing from home for New York publishers during the post-WWII era.
The stamped address belonged to Magazine Enterprises, a comic book publisher founded by Vin Sullivan, located at 420 Lexington Avenue, New York, N.Y. Also marked in pencil reads DING DONG #1, a comedic comic series published in 1946, and P.10 #10 referencing the front end comics’ page and issue number.

This original pen-and-ink comic artwork is a final visualization of a rejected solo Big Barda cover "Big Barda and Her Female Furies!" drawn by artist Frank Fosco in June 2011, based on an original layout by Jack Kirby.
DC Comics executives ultimately turned down, leaving it at the conceptual pitch stage. Rather than letting his work go to waste, Kirby repurposed his designs and narratives.
